Licence and Permit Bond Lisans ve İzin Kefaleti
A surety bond submitted to a regulatory authority as a condition of obtaining a business licence or permit, guaranteeing compliance with applicable laws and regulations. A prerequisite for licences in finance, energy, construction and transport sectors.
Lloyd's of London Market Lloyd's Piyasası
The world's leading specialist insurance and reinsurance market, based in London and organised as a market of syndicates of underwriting members. Each syndicate specialises in defined risk classes. Lloyd's provides critical capacity and expertise for large, complex and unusual risks.
Loss Portfolio Transfer (LPT) Kayıp Portföy Transferi
A reinsurance transaction in which the cedant transfers its existing and future loss liabilities, including reserves, to a reinsurer for a single premium. Used to clean up the balance sheet, improve the solvency position or achieve a structured exit from a portfolio or line of business.
Loss Ratio Hasar Oranı
The ratio of net incurred losses to net earned premium, expressed as a percentage. A key component in assessing underwriting performance; the loss ratio alone does not determine underwriting profitability — the combined ratio (loss ratio + expense ratio) must be below 100% to confirm an underwriting profit. Calculated as: (Paid Losses + Movement in Loss Reserves) / Net Earned Premium × 100.
